Traverse a thousand years of Japanese history while drinking in dazzling artifacts, surreptitious sake and 1920-40s tunes as Dances of Vice joins with Japan Society to bring you a Journey Through Japan in Deco Style.

Dolled up dames and gents should prepare to engage their gams to the Kuni Mikami Jazz Quintet featuring Mari Koga, and hit on all sixes after Akemi Kinukawa and Ben Rich teach a group swing dance lesson. Kimono-clad beauties Masae Satouchi and Kaoru Matsuoka will be flirting among the audience, and for the hoofers, DJ Va Va Voon will keep the jazz and swing rhythms coming.

Peruse the exhibition, take a swig at our speakeasy, and then have your makeup done in period style before entering our photobooth to document an evening to remember on the east side.
